Just in time for its 120th company jubilee celebrations, the ZEIT publishing group honoured the traditional brand Em‑eukal by presenting it with the award "Brand of the Century" in the "cough drops" category.
We call those winning brands that have managed to set an example for an entire product category "German Standards".

Em‑eukal is now available in chew form for the first time. The Em‑eukal Gumdrops were honoured with the Sweetie award in the "Fruit Gums" category. The judging panel was impressed by the convenient, resealable pack and the powerful impact of the unique taste.
Our new product is aimed specifically at consumers who like the medicinal effect of our boiled sweets but prefer a sweet which they can chew.
The Sweetie award is another confirmation of our success and our innovative capacity, which we have proven to our customers over decades.
The Em‑eukal Moments win the Sweetie award in the "Marketing Concept" category. The award is presented annually to the most innovative new confectionery products by the monthly food trade publication "RUNDSCHAU für den Lebensmittelhandel".
"The moment of making a decision to purchase is always preceded by an emotional process".
Dr. C. SOLDAN has captured this sentiment par excellence with its Em‑eukal Moments and has rekindled the incentive to buy. This was the statement made by the judges in commendation of the product.
Each bag is full of the special taste and effect, with three sorts to choose from – strong, refreshing or mild. And "nur echt mit der Fahne" – only the original and genuine product comes with the flag.
Golden times for the trade – that's what our limited special edition Em‑eukal Herbstgenuss promised for the first time in 2010. Placed in the fresh food category, we attracted attention and impulse purchases.
The trade journal "Lebensmittel Zeitung direkt" presented us with the SALESCUP award in 2011 for this "most effective and creative sales promotion campaign in the category 'Industry promotions launch/relaunch'".

In 2010, the Marketing Club in Nuremberg together with the MARKETING STAR honoured us for the successful relaunch of our Em‑eukal brand.
The Marketing Club honours a company from the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region for its outstanding marketing achievements every two years. The main focus is on customer benefit and the preservation or creation of jobs in Middle Franconia.
Our classic Em‑eukal herbal drops won the brand award in 2010 in the "Best Brand Relaunch" category.
The German marketing association "Deutscher Marketing-Verband" and the German marketing trade publication "absatzwirtschaft" have been presenting this award in honour of excellent services in brand management since 2001.
"Away from the rather medically influenced cough drop image to healthy enjoyment: With this relaunch, Em‑eukal has managed to leap out of its niche...", was the jury's verdict.
